In just one week, we here at Timeworn will be heading down to beautiful Orlando, Florida to take part the 2016 Florida Restaurant & Lodging Show. For three days, over 8,000 members of the restaurant and foodservice community will come together to share innovative ideas, experience the latest industry trends, and witness the best in restaurant design and décor. What better place to show off our handmade wooden restaurant table tops?
This will be our first year at the Florida Restaurant & Lodging Show and we’ve been hard at work preparing for a great week in the sunshine state. From new restaurant table introductions to special discounts, we have a lot of surprises in store! We recently sat down with Amanda to find out what attendees can expect from Timeworn at the show:
A: We chose to exhibit at this show because it has a great reputation within the restaurant industry and we have a large customer base throughout Florida. It will be great to reconnect with these past clients as well as meet new ones. The warm weather won’t hurt either!
A: We will be bringing a dozen or so sample table tops that will include some of our most popular restaurant table top designs:
A: We will also have full-size wooden table exhibits of our:
- Distressed Maple (DM-NT)
- Standard Walnut – Original Color (SPW-OR)
- Distressed Oak (DO-NT)
- Rustic Patina Pine – White Color (RPP-OR)
A: I’d love to! We are so excited to be debuting our Thick Cut Table Top line at the show. Our Thick Cut Tops are 2 inches thick, beefed up from The Usual 1-3/4” thickness. This extra thickness showcases our wood’s spectacular grain in a way that you have to see to believe. The full-size Thick Cut Table Tops we will be displaying are:
- Rustic Patina Oak (RPO-OR)
- Maple Butcher Block original color (BBM-OR)
A: Unlike many other restaurant table tops, Timeworn wood table tops are handmade and one of a kind. In order to truly experience the quality of our wood restaurant tables, you have to feel their texture and see their depth, color, and character variation in person.
