Distressed Oak Reclaimed Tabletops

Heritage oak, revived for the dining floor

Across the plains, century-old barns are carefully deconstructed so the oak can live on. We denail every board, scan for hidden metal, and kiln-dry to a stable moisture range before grading and selecting the planks that belong on your tables. The result is reclaimed oak with lively browns, tight grain, and a natural patina that pairs beautifully with modern restaurant table design. From barn to table: our method

After milling and glue-up, we apply light distressing to celebrate the wood’s history without making the surface rough. Multiple coats of matte acrylic polyurethane seal the top for heat, wear, and cleaning performance, while hand-worked edges soften the silhouette. If you want the step-by-step—sizing, edge profiles, pre-drilling, QC—walk our build process to see how we create custom restaurant tables that are consistent across reorders.

Sizing notes that make service smoother

Reclaimed oak’s visual movement reads warmly under ambient light, and the subtle texture helps disguise day-to-day scuffs on commercial table tops. For tight aisles, 30×30 square restaurant tables or 30″ rounds keep flow lines open; for flexibility, mix squares and rounds to soften sightlines and maintain capacity.

Program consistency, from café to communal

We can pre-drill to your base pattern, radius corners near booths, and add underside sound-padding to calm the room. When you need long runs for large parties, we’ll color-match this finish on standard tops and shared surfaces—see our customizable communal tables for span and support ideas.
