We pay slightly more for this process because it guarantees smoother surfaces and prevents warping and twisting, so you can have tables that endure. Once assembled, our Distressed Restaurant Tabletops are sanded just enough to be smooth and promote easy cleaning and maintenance, yet not so much as to compromise their signature character markings. The tabletop edges and corners are hand-scraped to match the ruggedness of the surface. Finally, each Distressed Restaurant Tabletop is sealed and finished with multiple coats of our acrylic polyurethane in a matte sheen to ensure durability and ease of maintenance. Our tried and proven finish is an industry leader in both wear and heat resistance.
