TimeWorn table tops feature an industry-leading wood finish known for its durability and resistance against damage from cleaning agents. While you’re free to use any cleaning solution, we recommend opting for environmentally friendly products such as Green Works or Eco Labs to maintain the cleanliness of your dining space effectively.
Currently, TimeWorn does not cater to individual homeowners. Our operations are tailored for bulk orders, utilizing large-scale machinery that necessitates considerable setup time. This setup is not cost-effective for small, single-item orders. Additionally, our flat-rate shipping costs make single-item shipments, such as a single tabletop to California, as costly as shipping twenty tabletops, making it impractical for individual purchases.
For 2-top tables, the most popular sizes are 24×30 inches, 30×30 inches, and 30 inches round. For 4-top tables, the preferred sizes are 30×48 inches, 36×36 inches, and 36 inches round.
Yes, all the TimeWorn table tops and products are crafted from 100% solid wood and proudly made in the U.S.A., ensuring top-quality and durability.
We provide 12″x12″ samples of our products, representing the same quality and finish as our final products. These samples allow you to test the reaction of the finish to chemicals, hot items, oils, or wines, giving you a realistic expectation of the product’s performance. The first two samples are provided free of charge, and additional samples are available for $30 each.
Our table tops are coated with a two-part Acrylic Polyurethane sealer and top coat, specifically designed for commercial, restaurant, and hospitality environments. This solvent-based finish, including solvent-based stains, ensures durability and resistance suitable for high-traffic areas. We strive to mitigate any potential risks associated with using solid wood table tops. Unlike many manufacturers that dry their lumber to a moisture content (MC) of 8-10%, we go a step further by reducing our wood’s MC to 6% or lower. This precaution ensures our table tops can be shipped to any of the 50 states without the risk of shrinking or cracking. Additionally, we predominantly use quarter-sawn lumber, which, despite being more costly for us, significantly reduces the likelihood of cupping. Our table tops are finished with a top-performing coating, making our product exceptionally reliable and superior to 99.9% of finishes on the market. These measures collectively ensure a product that offers unmatched performance and durability.
