Restaurant Table Tops
Our Nationwide Presence – Why We’re in America’s Top Spots
The experienced craftsmen at Timeworn go the extra mile to ensure your restaurant table tops enhance the look and feel of your restaurant! Each of our unique wooden table tops are crafted by the hands of experienced craftsman, resulting in one-of-a-kind pieces of functional art. Our restaurant table tops are created from both reclaimed or new lumber. Even if you don’t know anything about design or restaurant furniture, know that you’re in good hands when you buy your wood table tops from Timeworn.
Custom Table tops, Guaranteed Quality & Adaptability for Any Setting
Our restaurant table tops are constructed using only the highest-quality new and reclaimed woods. By kiln drying each piece of wood used to assemble our solid wood table tops, our pieces are able to get below a moisture content of 6%, allowing our products to be shipped to all 50 states and last for years without ever cupping or cracking. These extra steps make our wood table tops incredibly durable, stable, and beautiful. Rectangle restaurant tabletops are available up to 17′ in length and round restaurant tabletops up to 6′ in diameter (for most products). Rounded corners for booths, engraved logos, sound padding, and custom table shapes are all on the menu of enhancements. And of course, we’re always happy to try something new and create an original design. Want a wood table in the shape of a duck? That’s kind of strange, but we can make it happen.
From Butcher Block to Quick-Ship: Navigating Our Six Table Top Choices
To assist you in selecting the ideal restaurant table top, we have six categories. If these six categories aren’t necessarily the best ones for discovering your ideal match, there are obviously many more options to refine your search using our selector bar. Below is a summary of those six categories.
Butcher Block Table Tops: Defined by their stave width (the boards that are used in creating the tables). These staves are ¾” wide and quarter-sawn.
Distressed Table Tops: Characterized by the distressed marks and hand-scraped edges applied by our proprietary process to add a touch of rustic appeal. We also use a proprietary stain and application process to give each table that authentic distressed color.
Mixed Plank Table tops: Defined by the width of the planks. This product category is also commonly referred to as our wide plank table tops, as the planks used in crafting these tops are at a minimum of 2” wide and can be as wide as 4-5”.
Rustic Texture Table Tops: Also known as rustic patina tops, these table tops are identified by their original surface. We sand these tops ever so slightly, and we’ve developed a method that allows all the holes to be filled without sacrificing the original patina (color and texture).
Standard Plank Table Tops: Before this became an industry-wide standard, it was our standard at TimeWorn. The phrase standard plank was actually coined by Amanda, one of our owners at TimeWorn, some 15 years ago! Primarily created with quarter-sawn staves that are 1 ½-2” wide.
Quick-Ship Table tops: As one might think, this category is a collection of table tops, 5 to be exact, that are ready to ship at a moment’s notice. Each of the 5 styles in this category is stocked in 6 different sizes; if the 6 sizes we stock won’t work for your needs, we can create custom table tops. Be sure to allow us 3–4 weeks to produce a custom order.
We understand it can be difficult to narrow down your custom table top options, but we’re here to help. If you have any questions, run into difficulties, or just want confirmation of your choices, don’t hesitate to reach out!
Additional Considerations for Refining Your Restaurant Table Top Selections
Colors: Our selector bar includes a variety of color options, but for a more tailored match, we recommend sharing images of existing or planned color schemes in your restaurant with us before we ship out your samples.
Size and Shape: At Timeworn, we are not constrained by limitations in size or shape. It is essential to select table tops that are well-suited to your specific spatial requirements.
Pricing: While we don’t list our pricing on our website for our table tops other than our quick-ship, we have a price range that should accommodate various budgets.
Customization and Branding: Personalizing your table tops with your logo is an increasingly popular trend, as it significantly enhances brand recognition. Our customization options create a unique and lasting impression on your guests.
Accessibility Considerations: We recommend reading our blog on accessibility to better understand the diverse needs of today’s customers. Consider softening your corners by having us round them with a 3” radius or adding sound dampening measures to the underside of your table to accommodate those who may be sensitive to noise.
Adaptability: Think about who your customer is or who your customer will be. Will you need seating for large parties that require communal tables? Do you want the option to go from a 4 top to a 6 top with a drop-leaf table?

Wood Restaurant Table Tops Built for Longevity
Every table top we produce is a testament to enduring quality, crafted from solid reclaimed or newly sourced wood in the United States. Our skilled artisans, aided by state-of-the-art machinery, work meticulously to bring these pieces to life. We take great pride in sourcing our reclaimed wood from various U.S. states, including Minnesota, Wisconsin, California, Oregon, Idaho, and Missouri, ensuring each piece has its own unique story.
Our process of creating solid wood restaurant table tops involves careful attention to detail. Each piece is sanded to a smooth finish, then sealed and coated with multiple layers of our industry-leading acrylic polyurethane in a matte finish. This careful application not only emphasizes our dedication to durability but also establishes a high standard for resistance to chemicals, wear, and heat. The matte sheen of the finish adds a touch of sophistication, highlighting the natural beauty of the wood while ensuring easy maintenance. These tabletops are not just visually appealing but are designed to withstand the rigors of a bustling restaurant environment, offering both aesthetic elegance and practical durability.
