Distressed wood restaurant tabletops are hand-distressed using a variety of tools and techniques, then stained and sanded to capture the charm that can only come from years of use.
These distressed wood restaurant tabletops are assembled with a mix of 1-1/2″ to 2″ wide quartersawn staves and have full plank ends. All nail holes and character marks are putty filled and the tops are sanded. The distressed markings are not putty filled which leaves the tops with a light and varied texture. The wood table tops are then coated with wood sealer and finished with 5 coats of catalyzed urethane in a matte sheen.
